Center for Apprenticeship and Adult TrainingThe Center for Apprenticeship and Adult Training at New Horizons Regional Education Center has a 23-year history of providing quality technical training programs in preparing adults for employment in an ever-changing job market. We provide more than 120 courses that train over 2,000 adults annually. The Center has been recognized by the state for its training program and many of the courses are articulated with the community college system. Apprenticeship Training: Authorized Apprenticeship Related Instruction provider for the Virginia Community College System and works closely with the Department Of Labor. Adult and Community Training Programs: Designed to prepare individuals for the workforce or skills needed to fulfill personal interests. Post 9/11, Montgomery GI Bill, MyCAA and Military TA: All Adullt Education Apprenticeship and Community classes are eligible for coverage. Community College and Veteran Articulation: The New Horizon’s Center for Apprenticeship and Adult Training, Apprenticeship Related Instruction, is approved by and registered with the Virginia Department of Education via the Virginia Commonwealth Community College System.
