COSMETOLOGY – $600

This course is designed to teach the cosmetology apprentice the needed information to pass their licensure exams. The course will also teach the contemporary techniques to ensure success once they are on the job. Classes are open to anyone, but in order to test for your State Boards, you will need to apprentices for 18 months and complete 3000 clock hours in a salon. BARBERING – $600

This course is designed to teach the barbering apprentice the needed information to pass their licensure exams. The course will also teach the contemporary techniques to ensure success once they are on the job. NAIL TECHNICIAN – $600

This course is designed to teach the student the needed information and contemporary techniques to ensure success when taking the State Board exam for Nail Technician. This course is open to all students, but in order to qualify for the State Board exam, students must have completed 2000 hours in a salon. Construction Technology

CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY – $475

This core course is designed to introduce students to construction site layout, Concrete, reinforcing materials, masonry, floor systems, wall and ceiling framing, roof framing, roofing applications, exterior finishing, basic stair layout, electrical safety, residential electrical services, HVAC, introduction to drain, waste and vent systems, plastic pipe and fittings, and copper pipe and fittings. Cost includes tuition and book.

CORE CURRICULUM – $475

This course is designed to introduce students to basic safety, construction math, hand tools, power tools, construction drawings, basic rigging, basic communication skills, basic employ-ability skills, and Materials Handling. Cost includes tuition and book.

NCCER ELECTRICAL LEVEL 1– $950

144 hour course covers construction math, hand tools, power tools, construction drawings, basic rigging, basic communication skills, material handling, orientation to the electrical trade, electrical safety, electrical circuits, electrical theory, the National Electrical Code, device boxes, hand bending, raceways and fittings, conductors and cables, residential electrical services, and electrical test equipment. Cost includes tuition and book.

NCCER ELECTRICAL LEVEL 2-$950

144 hour course covers alternating current, theory and application of motors, electric lighting, conduit bonding, pull and junction boxes, conductor installations, cable tray, conductor terminations and slices, grounding and bonding, circuit breakers and fuses, and control systems and fundamental concepts. Cost includes tuition and book.

NCCER ELECTRICAL LEVEL 3-$950

144 hour course covers load calculations with branch and feeder circuits, conductor selection and calculations, practical applications and lighting, hazardous locations, over current protection, distribution equipment, transformers, commercial electrical services, motor calculations, voice, data, and video controls, motor controls. Cost includes tuition and book.

NCCER ELECTRICAL LEVEL 4-$950

144 hour course covers load calculations with feeders and services, health care facilities, standby and emergency systems, basic electronic theory, fire alarm systems, specialty transformers, heat tracing and freeze protection, motor operation and maintenance, medium voltage termination/splices, and journeyman preparation.Cost includes tuition and book.

ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN 1 – Online – $475

Wood and masonry construction methods, concrete and steel construction methods, pathways and spaces, craft-related mathematics, hand bending of conduit, Introduction to the National Electrical Code and Low-Voltage Cabling. Cost includes tuition and book.

ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN 2 – Online – $475

DC circuits, AC circuits, switching devices and timers, semiconductors and integrated circuits, test equipment, electrical drawings, codes and standards, cable selection, wire and cable terminations, power quality and grounding. Cost includes tuition and book.

ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN 3 – Online – $475

Electronic Systems Technician 3: Buses and Networks, Fiber Optics, Wireless Communication, Site Survey, Project Planning, and Documentation, Fundamentals of Crew Leadership, Rack Assembly, System Commissioning and User Training, and Maintenance and Repair. Cost includes tuition and book.

ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN 4 – Online – $475

Electronic Systems Technician 4: This course is designed to introduce students to audio systems, video systems, broadband systems, media management systems, telecommunications systems, residential and commercial building networks, intrusion detection systems, fire alarm systems, overview of nurse call and signaling systems, CCTV systems, and access control systems.Cost includes tuition and book.

NCCER HVAC I- $650

Introductory level course presenting a working foundation of refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump theory and application, plus a basic knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and reading of schematic wiring diagrams.

NCCER HVAC II- $650

Designed to deal with the safety systems and circuit controls that will help the student to install and maintain almost any type of refrigeration, air conditioning or heat pump equipment.

NCCER HVAC III- $650

Covers installation, advanced troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing of geo-thermal heat pumps, gas, fuel oil and electric heating systems.cost includes tuition and book.

NCCER HVAC IV- $650

Reflects the basic understanding Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning. Topics include construction drawings, air balancing, air quality, energy conservation, start up and shut down, alternative heating and cooling systems and supervisory skills.  This course emphasizes safe work procedures and provides students a foundation for more technical areas of study.

NCCER PLUMBING LEVEL 1 – $950

Plumbing safety, tools of the plumbing trade, introduction to plumbing math, introduction to plumbing drawings, plastic pipe and fittings, copper pipe and fittings, cast-iron pipe and fittings, carbon steel pipe and fittings, introduction to plumbing fixtures, introduction to drain, waste, and vent (DWV) systems, and introduction to water distribution systems. Cost includes tuition and book.

NCCER PLUMBING LEVEL 2 – $950

Plumbing math two, reading commercial drawings, structural penetrations, insulation, and fire stopping, installing and testing DWV piping, installing roof, floor, and area drains, installing and testing water supply piping, types of valves, installing fixtures and valves, installing water heaters, basic electricity, and fuel gas and fuel oil systems. Cost includes tuition and book.

NCCER PLUMBING LEVEL 3 – Online – $950

Applied math, sizing water supply piping, portable water treatment, back flow preventers, types of venting, sizing DWV and storm systems, sewage pumps and sump pumps, corrosive-resistant waste piping, and compressed air. Cost includes tuition and book.

NCCER PLUMBING LEVEL 4 – Online 4 – $950

Introductory skills for the crew leader, water pressure booster and recirculation systems, indirect and special waste, hydronic and solar heating systems, codes, servicing piping systems – fixtures and appliances, private water supply well systems, private waste disposal systems, swimming pools and hot tubs, and plumbing for mobile homes and travel trailers. Cost includes tuition and book.

YOUR ROLE IN THE GREEN ENVIRONMENT – Online – $475
