2016-2017 Scholarship/Honorarium Recipients

Automotive Technology (Auto Body/Auto Technology) Cluster

The Hampton Roads Auto Collision Association $500 Honorarium is presented to Joshua Rudolph, a Phoebus High School senior who attended the Auto Body program at the Butler Farm Campus.

The Bay Custom Inc. $500 Honorarium is awarded to Alex Harrison a Grafton High School senior who attended the Auto Collision program at the Butler Farm campus.

The Bob Baker $500 Honorarium is presented to Justin Firth a Poquoson high school senior and a second year Automotive Technician student at the Butler Farm campus.

Kenzie Cornielson is a second year Cosmetology student who also attends York High School. Kenzie is an “A” student in Cosmetology and has been for two years. She has passed the Virginia Cosmetology State Licensing Test and is fully licensed to work as a Cosmetologist. She has already begin working at Supercuts, and will expand her hours after graduating from York High. Kenzie plans to continue working in a Salon to save money and then attend Thomas Nelson Community College to work towards a business degree. She wants to own her own salon one day. Kenzie has excellent interpersonal skills and has proven to be a leader among her peers.
