Use this page to check on the status of your application. You will be able to see how many teacher recommendations have been received and how far along your counselor is with the application process.

If one of your teachers never received an email containing a link to the teacher recommendation form or you entered an email address incorrectly, you can use this page to resend a recommendation form. Click the button below to get started.

Apply to the Governor’s School

If you are a current tenth grade student you may create a new application to the Governor’s School. Before getting started, make sure you have the following information:

  • your student ID number
  • your email address
  • email address of your current high school counselor
  • email addresses of your current math, science and language arts/social studies teachers

Important updates and notifications will be sent via email using data you provide in your application. Please make sure that the email addresses you provide are valid and working before submitting your application. To ensure you receive emails from our system, please add and to your email safe lists and/or contacts.

Remember: it is your responsibility to follow up with your counselor and teachers to confirm they have received notifications from our system concerning your application. Make sure they know to check their spam/junk folders if they have not received any emails from after you submit your application. If emails are not received after 3 days, notify your counselor as soon as possible.
