New Horizons Regional Education Centers (NHREC), in collaboration with the New Horizons Educational Foundation (NHEF), is proud to announce the launch of the New Horizons Teacher of the Year (TOY) Program. Starting in March 2022, the TOY program will kick-off. All employees will have an opportunity to nominate teachers who demonstrate exceptional leadership and superb instructional and character qualities that promote excellence in their classrooms and across New Horizons.
One TOY honoree will be selected from each of the following programs:
- Butler Farm CTE
- Woodside Lane CTE
- Governor’s School for Science and Technology
- Center for Autism
- Newport Academy
Once selections are made and celebrated, all program honorees will be invited and recognized at the NHREC TOY Banquet, where the NHREC Teacher of the Year will be named. More details about the banquet to follow.
