NHREC January Board of Trustees Meeting
HAMPTON, VA — March 24, 2023 — The New Horizons Regional Education Centers (NHREC)
Board of Trustees will meet on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 6:00 PM. The meeting will be held
at the Woodside Lane CTE Campus (Building A), 13400 Woodside Lane, Newport News, VA.
The Board of Trustees meeting agenda includes a Governor’s School for Science and
Technology (GSST) Presentation, Proposed FY 2024 Budget, Recruiting Updates for GSST and
CTE, Year 3 School Improvement Plan Mid-Year Report and 2023 Teacher of the Year Program
information.

Public comment is welcome. Individuals may submit comments to be presented to the board or
appear in person. In-person or virtual speakers are encouraged to prepare their remarks to fit
within a 3-minute limit. Speakers are welcome to provide copies of their written statements that
