
Plumbing and Pipefitting Syllabus
ABOUT:
- The Plumbing and Pipefitting Lab is the first of its kind in the Commonwealth.
- The lab features updated classroom space and includes three mock lab stations that will enable students to train and earn certifications in residential/commercial plumbing and marine pipefitting.
- Up to forty students, each year will have the opportunity to participate in this program
- The program will be piloting the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER)
- Plumbing/Pipefitting curriculum that allows students to complete coursework that can be applied to future apprenticeship training programs.
- Students will gain valuable hands-on and real-world experience to be ready to compete for commercial, marine and residential plumbing/pipefitting careers
- Plumbing and Pipefitting is a 1-year program.
